Gravel Season Is Here.

So, it's that time of year again and I hear the gravel calling my name. I'll be back on Thursday to post a couple of weekend epics. Thinking of leaving from the Bob on Saturday (mostly flat) and somewhere on the South side (mostly hilly) on Sunday.

Let's Plan on Meeting on the West side of the Bob on Saturday 10 a.m. Based on the forecast we'll probably head North on the CB side and pick up gravel near the end of the bike path.

Sunday's Plan: Leaving from 5224 Lake Forest, Papillion at 11:00, doing the normal route with extenders if needed. Back around 2ish. Free Beer after compliments of Steel Cut Oats (Brady Murphy).

Sat works for me if I get over this bug I got. Are you heading north out of CB then ?

Are we still welcome even if we don't know where "the Bob" is?

Nevermind. It's that bridge thingy. I'm a dork.

Are we still welcome even if we're dorks?

Dorks are encouraged, direction will be based on weather.

What time Saturday? And the route we rode a few times last year?

Would be a good week to start a East gravel route Saturday and a West route Sunday or mix it up.

I have a great new modified route from my place which is about 3 - 3 1/2 hours and its sweet. About 2 - 2 1/2 if you start in Gretna from Nicks. I will be riding around 12:30 or 1 from my place depending on who all want to go.

I'll probably continue to leave from Bellevue on Sunday's. You should have enough Westies to make up a ride though.

Didn't figure you would.

For others interested Paul Webb is back in town and we'll leave my place at 1:30 Sunday. So far just Nick Z, Paul and me. Will be more of a 2 1/2- 3 hr due to the later departure.
