I remember a quote from Pure Sweet Hell, "I don't understand why people spend thousands of dollars on fancy cross bikes. The bike makes no difference."

Maybe not, but that's a nice bike.

CVO anybody can ride my bikes. Have at it. It sure is a nice riding bicycle. Shim not a stocking item. Left testicle probably dont need to add to my already growing collection.

Yeah, I remember that line from "Pure Sweet Hell," Cornbread. That is code for "I am not very good, so I ride a piece of s*** to maintain my rep and appear "grassroots." Whatevah!

I recall Sam winning the B's a few years back on a stock cross check and doing really well 2 years ago on a cross check with nothing galmorous on it.

There's nothing crappy about a Cross Check...is there? How is your wrist/hand, CB?

Actually, it's my leg. Doin' better. Thanks for asking. Still can't do any activity (biking) for 6 to 8 weeks. I'm bummin'.

I got completely caught up on the situation AFTER I wrote my ill-informed post. Hang in there! It all happens for a reason...
