So, MOD calls out the ride at Manawa, but rusty has spoken... TNR is at Tranq. I don't want to play arbitrator or dictator here, so I'm willing to allow a vote... of one person.
I've put in a call to Larry at his home, office, and cell, but he's straightening out someone's spine right now. Rumor has it that Larry is driving to Omaha tonight to ride with us, and if that's true, I say that Larry has the most powerful voice to tell us where he wants to ride. Driving that distance, he's earned it. So as soon as I get an answer from Larry, I'll post it, and thats the end of it.
I will NOT allow our mtb community (and group ride plans) to be divided by trivial, hasty posts on a blog. Especially when we're faced with such adverse riding conditions.
So Larry will arbitrate shortly. I expect to hear from him b/w 10:30 & 11am.

RF, I would hardly say my post was trivial or hasty and I doubt I'm dividing anyone.
For the past week nobody has commented on any rides, except T-bone (Sunday).
So him and I aren't really dividing anything are we. If anything, my hasty post has gotten people actually thinking about riding.
So...sorry I didn't check my e-mail this morning before posting. When I looked at NebCycling last, it said Manawa, Rusty was out of town so I ASS-U-ME(ed) it wasn't changing.
Manawa's closer for Larry anyway, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
