TRAIL WARNING!!!

***PLEASE STAY OFF OF WET TRAILS***

I know the urge to ride singletrack is high, but remember that one or two nice warm days doesn't mean the trails are rideable. In many cases it makes them worse. One very warm day will thaw the ground deeper and bring out more moisture to the surface than a day that stays just above freezing.

If the lows stay below freezing and you want to ride off-road please do it before 9am. Things start to thaw around 10.

Please help spread the word.

And in case anyone was wondering, L&C is wet, Swanson wet, Jewell wet, Manawa wet. And that's coming from people that tried to ride there and found out the hard way. Respect the trails.

I don't think these post help any. I was at Swanson Sat am and there were no tracks. When I went back Sunday am the trails were wasted. Maybe it's time to put some signs up at the trailhead.

Don't know what you're talking about Shim. That post is perfect!

Problem is more people use the trails than read this blog. All we can do is spread the word.

What? People mtb'ers in Omaha don't read you're blog? What happened?

cc, I was there at 7:30am both days when the ground is still frozen.
