Break Time

whew...sounds like everyone needs a break after the 3 day weekend. Every year I think the 12 hour is a good idea but it sure makes you feel it for more than a few days. Only 362 days until next years 12 hour, can't wait...
  1. Rode a lap at L&C yesterday, trail is mostly dry, just a few puddles in the low spots.
  2. The Giro ended on Sunday and Ivan Basso kicked everyones ass without even really trying. But it got a little heated between Basso and Simoni.
  3. MTB World Cup number FOUR from Fort William, if it's not scotish it's crap, Scotland went off this weekend. Pick your winner, Hill, Moseley, Absalon or Gohl. Gohl? who's Gohl? Dunno, but Gunn-Rita flatted and that was that. My boy Cedric made the pod in the DH and JHK made the little step in the XC.
  4. I'd like to thank everyone who raced in the 12 hour for providing me with many hours of entertainment.
  5. and finally, from the world of Formula 1, Monte Carlo style. Schumacher got what was coming to him after making an "error" in the final turn of qualifying. Ferrari and Schumacher think they can get away with anything. I call bull$h!t. We made it home from the 12 hour just in time to catch the race. Best F1 race in a long time. If you missed it you can catch it this weekend on speed channel.

yeah after 3+ cars detonated in front of him.

For reals though, the guy drove really well, he had the car to do the job, too bad he made such an idiot move.

I know he's probably the best all around driver any of us will ever see but he sure does crack under presure...alot!

CD, apparently you missed my second statement?

MS has cracked or made a bonehead move more than a few times in his career, Suzuka '99, stalled on the grid lost the championship, lost points in '97 against Villnueve, lost the championship. In a sport that most claim is boring due to no passing, Coulthard seems to find his way by more often than others. Would you like me to continue.

regardless, you guys are sooooo easy to get started. I compliment the guy for driving an amazing race from the pit lane and...

He cracks when challenged and his record show's it. You can't argue that. You also can't argue that he is the most talented racing driver any of us will ever witness.

I was just stoked to see nose to tail racing for an entire race.
