We had the demo ss felt out at the Tranquility race. Its a medium and too small for me. We put a titec Jones bar on it. I need to take it out for a lap so I can comment on the ride.

Nice. Does anyone make an off-the-shelf steel 29'r?

There are several steel makes and models. I will mentioned what we (Bike Masters) have: Haro Mary SS (rigid) and Mary XC (hardtail 3x9). We have a large SS and medium XC for demos. We also have Niners with build kits if you don't want to piece it together yourself. Large Niner SIR 9 rigid 3x9 demo.

You in the market James?

GF Ferrous, hard to come by but we have a few on order. Comes stock with gears and an EBB so you can go SS if desired. Munson is running his dingle speed (google it, to complicated to explain), I'm rocking it SS. You could also do the Surly Karate Monkey thing. Tons of steel is real options out there.

PB got you thinking MTB?

Yeah, I'm definitely considering. I need a more productive pursuit than wasting money on cars. Those are all nice choices BTW. I like the Plexus seat-stays on the Curtlo 24 Hour.
