Greetings from the high desert! My apologies for not posting more photos except for Ryan's leg. Forgot the cable that connects the camera to the laptop.
Down to biz. Yesterday we rode Fruita. The pucker factor was high. A route called Ribbons and Eagle's wing was the ride for the day. Nobody had ridden it before. It started out at 6200 feet on top of a magnificent slick rock table top that dropped off at all sides. Total free-riders dream. 4 ft. drops, rock gardens and loose climbs rewarded us with views that can only be understood if you were there. There were some sweet woo-hoo downhills that Skinny D would love. We dropped to 4200 feet in about 7 miles. No toasted roters, thankfully, and no injuries.
The day ended at the famed Fiesta Guadalajara restaurant. Top shelf margies all around and some serious Mexican food. I've never seen Rusty so relaxed! We all were! Oh, and Fox and Maxxis were in town. It's the place to be!

Oh Yea, the Ribbon Trail is a must ride. I rode it last year for the first time and loved it. Giant rock slab, cliffs on both sides. I've never seen anything like it before. Good stuff, keep the pictures comming.
