Aaron, Dan, Larry, Tim, and myself found each other across the trailhead and high school parking lots. Lots of people.
Singletrack was rough from horses. River crossings were off limits because of mud. First bike bridge was washed away. Some other low sections were wet and overgrown. That singletrack is going to take some major manpower commitment to get, and keep, it all in good shape.
This was my second Taco ride. I wasn't impressed with the taco (greasy meat) or pitcher beer taste. Next time, I'll have to try something else off the menu and a quality over quantity beer.
Regardless of my nit-picking, we all had a good time riding and talking.
A few other familiar faces there and about: Kory, Tim, Scott, Charlie, and flattire T-bone.
Dale, try the cheeseburgers and onion rings next time. Or ride another 4 miles to Silver City and go to the Silver City Saloon. They have a really good menu and $5 pitchers of Amber Bock.
Thanks for stopping and helping me with my flat.
