The weekend that is, time to grab some coffee, hop on the bike and roll into work. After the monsoon that rocked us early on, I can't believe how nice the weather has been. nice breezes, cool weather and limited heat and humdity. We actually had a spring this year. But it's summer now so hold on.
Tonight is trail time at Swanson. I don't know what tools will be there. I can only get there by bike so hopefully someone has some loppers I can grab to cut back the eye whacker branches.
Platte is about as overgrown as I've ever seen it. If we can get there, MW and I were talking about heading out Wednesday night. I might go buy a idiot stick this morning.
Congrats to all the Ponca riders, bummed I missed it, camping up there is always fun.
Grab the family and get out to the MetrO! Mountain Bike Challenge this weekend at Swanson. When your kids race, you race free. $10 get's you a fun day on the bike, a waterbottle and pair of socks. Trek's Ride the Best demo will be on hand for both days as well. It's not just for Off-Road riders, Road bikes will be available to test as well. Prizes from Chipotle, Innovations CO2 and Yeti.

I just got word from Ken at Ride the Best that not only will he have the New Madones road bikes on the trailer but will also have some new 2008 Fisher two-niners!
Who is doing the FREE guided course pre-rides? I'm not sure if I have ridden there before.
Do I get to ride in the kids race since I am injured?
