TNR: Time for dirt

Members of the MTBO staff were out hiking L&C and the word is...

RIDEABLE!

First dirt of the year. Join us.

Where: Lewis and Clark Monument parking lot.

When: Thursday, March 27th

What time: Meet at 6pm, ride at 6:15pm

Food to follow, who's hungry for what?

It's perfect dirt, but I've never had so many sticks try & get caught in my wheels before. Be careful (however you do that).

I'd suggest some beater wheels if you have that option. But the dirt itself is excellent.

Largest tree in the whole freaking forest fell down & is blocking 2 different parts of the trail. If anybody has a 6' chainsaw I'm sure it can be fixed.

What is the status on other locals?

I was wondering about Platte. I might ride out there Friday after work around 3:30 or 4ish unless it for sure unridable.

with the rain we got this morning, I am skeptical that any trail would be rideable tonight. If you're tires leave a mark or a rut, don't ride.
