Teaser

To answer your question, yes, it's as good as it looks. The new Top Fuel 9.9 SSL sub 21 pound cross country rocket. The call goes like this. Climbing: you'd never know you were on a full suspension bike. This bike is noticeably faster than other bikes going up. Drivetrain response is similar to a road bike, the 2x9 drivetrain with ultra narrow Q factor being the culprit. Descending: the ultra narrow 580mm handlebars weren't exactly confidence inspiring, but you could tell with a wider hand grip you could really push the bike through the turns and pump them for speed.

Ride it yourself and see, Trek's Ride the Best Demo Tour will be at Swanson the first weekend of September!

Full floater gives you the feel of a longer travel rear end.
Co-molding allows for no aluminum inserts at the shock mounts or bottom bracket. The bearings seat directly into the frame.
