Saturday Ride before to Freeze

Martin, Rox & I experienced a bit of the "wintery mix" precip Saturday morning before the temps fell too bad.  It was about 35deg when we started at 9:45am and I think that was about the warmest it was for the whole ride.  Our clothes were 5-10lbs heavier at the end of the ride due to all the wetness.  We had a thick mist & fog for the entire ride, and plenty of road spray.  From home, over the ped bridge, then north and around CB, back around manawa, follow trail back to ped bridge and back home.  About 34 miles when it was all said and done.  Anyone else get out?

How is that new ped bridge? Sounds like a great ride.

Yep trying to hold to the New Year's resolution, believe it or not, I rode 4 times this week. 1 time urban mix of gravel and paved, 1 time on trainer (WTF), 1 time off road in shorts, and 1 time off road in full winter gear.

Wish I was there to ride with all of you. Instead I went snowshoeing for somewhere between 4-5 hours.

I waited for the ice to cover the streets real good, then took out the new Nokian Extreme's Saturday at about 5PM. I believe I actually had more traction than the cars.

Rusty on the bike and not at work. The new year is full of surprises.
