I-70 is closed indefinitely. Click here for more info. Additionally Grand Junction/Fruita trail conditions are very bad.

Call a local shop before starting your trip.

Can I get to Loveland Ski Area? I still have 4 lift tickets to use and was thinking about going this weekend.

Rusty?

Yes the part that is closed is past on the ski areas on the way to Glenwood Springs. Unless your going to Aspen, then you are SOL this weekend. Snowing right now...Wednesday evening.

Ok, Rusty I'm confused. Loveland Ski Area is at Exit 216. I-70 is closed from Dotsero Exit 133 to Glenwood Springs Exit 116 which is 100 miles past Loveland. So it looks like if your going skiing you should be ok, if you're going to Fruita you have a detour.

One lane of eastbound and westbound I-70 are now open between Glenwood Springs and approximately Dotsero The speed limit has been reduced to 40 mph through the area and a 14 ft. width restriction is in effect.
