Best Cure for a Hangover

If you need to get over the hangover after the RnR wedding reception, the best way to get over it is VIGOROUS physical exercise. Come down and race cross at Swanson Sunday morning and all the pain inflicted by the race will make you forget that hangover. You'll then be ready for a more civilized pursuit, like the polo game that will follow.

Stick around after the CX race and play some polo. The weather is looking great for Sunday. Bring one black and one white shirt.

Friday night game. 6pm till dark at Swanson.
Sunday afternoon game. 1pm-3pm at Swanson.
Please bring:
1 black shirt
1 white shirt
1 beater bike that can take a little abuse

Bike polo is sometimes a contact sport so you may get bumped and bruised. Your bike may also get bumped and bruised. Look for us either on the lower fields (baseball diamonds) or on the upper field back by the trailhead. Everyone is welcome to come and give it a try, I have enough polo mallets for everyone. Don't forget the 1/2 time and post game drinks.

Polo on Ice

If you are looking for something to do tonight we are playing polo on the ice during the first period intermission at the Lancer hockey game . 7:05 at the Mid America Center over in Council Bluffs. The Lancers are playing the Lincoln Stars so it should be a great game. I may have some free tickets available. We are meeting at the Hooters over by the MAC at 6pm to discuss our game plan. Stop by if you want some tickets. If you want to play let me know ASAP.

Getting Close

Racing just around the corner. Tough time of year, putting in long boring base miles. Dont see much posted on the Omaha blog this time of year but polo stuff. Not much of a cure for my homesickness, which is minimal these days. Colorado is certainly feeling like home finally. A couple shots from home for viewing pleasure. My best bud out here Kalan and DP heading down to Cheyenne Mtn last fall to preride the race course. Kalan won the thing, the other pic is why DP didn't race.

I'm open for field or hard court, but think we may best be served practicing on hard court this week in preparation for our ER visits on St. Patrick's day.

I found a two court tennis court that would work for polo. We need 4-8 people. If we can get 8 or more we can have two games going at once. Hanscom Park, 30th & Park Ave. Just off the Martha Street exit on 480. 2pm Sunday.
