basically the doc finally said I've had "chronic sinusitus" since May of 07, with intermittent symptoms that are sometimes bad and sometimes barely noticeable. A CT scan of my head revealed twisted pathways, so they're gonna stick a thin, expensive dremel up my nose and straighten things out. Maskenthine is less than 2 weeks away so I wanted this done ASAP so I'll be good for all the April racin. If luck allows, you might even see me on the Bike Masters Century on Sunday. With a new cold air intake.
Not being able to breath well thru your nose sucks, even more so when you train in cold temps. Most of the time when they add cold air intake, they match it with a more open exhaust. You should stay away from that upgrade. Good luck bud.

"Considerable swelling and bruising can be expected"
Might I suggest stocking up on beer? Good luck Ryan.
Josh is pretty good with a dremel and I'm sure he'll give you a discount.
I don't need no stink'in medical degree to tell you that your head is twisted...
Good Luck.
You might be surprised how much gauze and packing they will fit up there. Makes you think how hollow the space is.

I was told no guaze, just clear plastic splints, but we'll see. I've heard about the amazing quantities of guaze from a number of folks
